CCTV has emerged showing the last sighting of a British teenager murdered in Thailand as police search for his girlfriend and question a suspect.
Woramet Ben Taota, a 16-year-old dual national, borrowed his mother’s blue scooter and was seen riding with a girl on the back before he was found dead the next day in Lampang province on 7 May.
His phone and money were missing from his shoulder bag, leading to speculation he had been robbed.
Thai media reported that the teenager’s body was found by a rubbish collector who was working in the area at the time.
