Erdogan called on NATO to take decisive steps in UkrainePolitics

Baku/25.02.22/ The NATO bloc should take more concrete steps and not be limited to statements on Ukraine,  the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Friday to journalists in Istanbul.

Unfortunately, the European Union and all those who adhere to pro-Western views have not yet demonstrated a serious and decisive position on the Ukrainian issue. “The only thing they do is to give advice to Ukraine. There are no specific steps. Steps on this issue will be discussed at today’s NATO summit,” the Turkish leader said.

“Today we will get acquainted with the position of the participants of the NATO summit. Turkey’s position is extremely clear. It seems that the NATO bloc should adhere to a clearer position. We brought our position to Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg,” the President said.
