Baku /02/21/12/ The former head of the procurement and supply department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Melik Mammad Gurbanov, has been arrested.
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed this information to Turan.
The Investigative Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office charged him under Article 179.4 (embezzlement or misappropriation) of the Criminal Code and submitted to the court a representation to choose a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
Recall that earlier in recent weeks, five officials of the financial structures of the Ministry of Defense, including the head of the financial department of the department, were arrested. -06B-
