Baku/03.03.22/ On Thursday, the head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Chairman of the Parliament of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali.
During the meeting, Aliyev noted the close cooperation between the two countries and expressed hope that the visit would serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
Aliyev also noted the successful development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the existence of good prospects for cooperation in the economic, transport and investment fields.
In turn, Rustam Emomali noted that during the visit, an agreement on cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as a document on the twinning of Baku and Dushanbe, will be signed.
A 34-year-old Rustam Emomali is the son of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.—06B-
