If, in 2019, the number of registered drug addicts was 32,921, then in 2020 there were already 33,788 of them, and in 2021 – 34,602, the data posted on the website of the Ministry of Health with reference to the Director General of the Republican Narcological Center Orkhan Jafarov.
At the same time, there are much fewer women and adolescents among drug addicts than men. So, in 2019, the number of female drug addicts was 641, and adolescents – 9.
In 2020, there were 618 women and 9 teenagers.
In 2021, 566 women and 14 teenagers.
The Director General said that the majority of registered drug users use opioids – 24,850 people, cannabinoids – 9,752 people and psychostimulants – 3107 people -05D-
