The US president and the Australian prime minister will also take part in a state dinner today.
According to a statement from the White House, the Australian leader’s trip will “underscore the deep and enduring Alliance between the United States and Australia and the two nations’ shared commitment to supporting an open, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific.”
Mr Albanese’s visit is Mr Biden’s fourth state visitor he has welcomed since taking office.
The Australian prime minister and Ms. Haydon arrived in the US on Sunday evening.
On Monday, Mr Albanese laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and visited Microsoft, where the company announced a $3bn artificial intelligence and cyber security partnership with Australia.
