Baku / 13.02.22 / During a special operation by law enforcement officers, a man was eliminated who had previously wounded two police officers, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said on Sunday.
On February 12, Babayev Aydin Taleh oglu (born in 1994) stabbed sergeants of the Rapid Response Regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Eldaniz Mammadov and Joshgun Mammadli, who arrived in connection with the injury of his friend.
As a result of the operational-search activities carried out by the employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Sabail District Police Department, Babayev’s whereabouts were established.
On February 13, at about 12:00, during the arrest, Babaev refused to surrender to the police officers, threatening to blow himself up and blow them up with a hand grenade.
As a result, the police terminated him.
A hand grenade “F-1” belonging to Babaev, a pistol of the brand “LLama cal 32”, a narcotic substance, 4 cartridge cases were found at the scene of the incident.
It was also established that Babayev was wanted in connection with the initiation of a criminal case in the Sabail district police department under article 221.1 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
