Baku/03.03.22/ Employees of the State Border Service (SBS) detained a drug courier with 14 kg. drugs.
According to the message of the State Border Service, on March 2, at about 21:05, near the village of Amirzeidli, Beylagan region, border guards noticed a VAZ-2107 car, from which a man got out, took away a hidden sports bag and a package.
When trying to detain the unknown, he tried to escape, disobeying the order “Stop”.
After the arrest, it was established that he was a resident of the Fuzuli region, Mammadov Tahir, born in 1961. When examining a sports bag and package, drugs with a total weight of 14 kg were found. 200 gr. – 5.8 kg. marijuana, 4.2 kg. heroin, 2.1 kg. opium, as well as 1,900 methadone-40 tablets and 290 “gabaprel” -300 tablets.
It was established that Mammadov had previously been convicted of serious crimes.—06B-
