Transportation through Ukraine within the framework of the TRACECA project is suspendedPolitics
Baku/28.02.22/ The war in Ukraine has affected cargo transportation along the TRACECA transport corridor.
The Black Sea ports of Ukraine have practically suspended their activities, Rufat Bayramov, national secretary of the Intergovernmental Commission on the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) from Azerbaijan, told the Azerbaijani service of Voice of America.
“The work of the ports is practically stopped. Currently, the Ukrainian side does not send cargo and does not accept new cargo. We are now working to remove the remaining vehicles from Ukraine,” Bayramov said.
TRACECA is a special project within the framework of technical assistance (TACIS) to the CIS, supported by the EU.—03D06-
